Register your name
Search for an available name and register it for the intended person or organisation. You do not have to buy a hosting plan from NameUK.
DOMAIN REGISTRATION WITHOUT HOSTING
Buy your domain on its own. Keep the address in your NameUK account, then connect the website and email services that suit you.
Search .co.uk first, or enter a full domain with a different ending.

PAY FOR THE PART YOU NEED
A domain and a website subscription do different jobs. Choose them separately.

Use a compatible website builder, web host or email provider. Their subscriptions and setup charges are separate from domain registration.
Follow your provider’s instructions in the DNS editor or change nameservers. Keep the registration renewed even while the name is unused.
WHAT YOUR PURCHASE COVERS
Keep the domain part straightforward, with ongoing costs visible before you buy.
