A few useful details.
Do I need to use NameUK nameservers to edit DNS here?
Yes, the NameUK DNS editor controls the public connection when the domain uses our managed nameservers. If you choose an external DNS host, make record changes in its active editor instead.
Can I control domains I transfer to NameUK?
An eligible unsigned .co.uk or .uk can use the supported incoming transfer route. Keep its existing DNS working during the move. A switch to NameUK managed DNS needs a separate review of all existing records.
Are all advanced controls available?
Core DNS records, nameserver changes, contact updates and one-time renewals are available. Automatic renewal billing, DNSSEC changes, private-nameserver registration, legal registrant changes and outgoing registrar-transfer actions are not currently available through self-service. Preview navigation may show these separately limited tools.
Is web hosting included?
No. Domain registration and management are separate from website hosting and email mailboxes. You can choose compatible providers and connect them to your domain.
